An investigation attributed to All Eyes on Wagner counted at least 335 Cameroonians in Russian ranks between 2023 and mid-2025, with nearly 94 reportedly dead, while the Ukrainian project “I Want to Live” put the death toll above 100; neither figure is an official consolidated count. The collective is calling for recruitment networks to be identified, deaths to be clarified, bodies to be repatriated, and assistance for Cameroonians seeking to leave combat zones.
