The Netherlands pulls out of Eurovision 2027 due to Israel ‘sensitivities’

Dutch public broadcaster NPO announced that the Netherlands will not take part in Eurovision 2027, citing reactions and divisions in society over Israel’s participation. The decision follows AVROTROS’s August boycott announcement, when it said the contest could no longer be considered neutral. NPO had initially said it would take responsibility for the Dutch entry, but reversed course on Tuesday. The contest will still be broadcast on Dutch public channels.
