Three-Year-Old Pierre Nevada: Police Attend a Children’s Match as Controversy Erupts

Videos filmed at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Florida show three-year-old Nevada Pierre dribbling and scoring during an i9 Sports game against older children. His mother, Martasia Griffin, says he was excluded because he dominated the matches and that some parents complained about his play. The league official acknowledged Nevada’s superior skill but said the boy pushed other children and his parents challenged the playing-time rotations; he said he called police after a dispute with the family. Winter Park police said no one was arrested, the family left voluntarily, and a refund was offered.
