Tinubu to Nigerian youths: Your future depends on the 2027 election

President Bola Tinubu urged Nigerian youths to collect their Permanent Voter Cards and take part in the 2027 general elections at a Rainbow Coalition rally at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt. He said the election would shape young people’s future and encouraged citizens to use their PVCs to choose the country’s leaders. Tinubu also described economic development and broadly shared prosperity as tools to tackle poverty. He said his government was clearing billions and trillions of naira in unpaid pensions and gratuities inherited from previous administrations, including payments to retired engineers, welders and teachers.
