Trump, Vance and candidates campaign on last day before US midterms

Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have begun their final push before the November 3 midterm elections, as Republican and Democratic candidates campaign across the country. Trump is scheduled to deliver his closing message at 2pm ET on Monday at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC. Republicans are seeking to retain their majorities in the Senate and House despite Trump’s low approval ratings and polls pointing to Democratic gains amid the Iran war, high energy prices and the affordability crisis. Trump said that if he had to work with Democrats, he would become “Mr. Veto.”
