Arms influx: Customs interceptions commendable — NCMDLCA

Lucky Amiwero, the National President of the National Council of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents (NCMDLCA), commended the Nigeria Customs Service for its recent interceptions of pump-action rifles allegedly imported from Turkey. He emphasized the significance of these interceptions as the country approaches another political season and called for stronger cargo inspection mechanisms and information-sharing among countries. Amiwero also stressed the need to hold importers or agents accountable for bypassing established clearance procedures.
