Two Suspected Thugs Killed and Vehicle Burnt in Attack on NDC Candidate in Ebonyi

The 2024 Toyota Hilux belonging to Rollins Offia Nwali, Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Ezza South State Constituency, was burnt in an alleged attack by political thugs in Amaezekwe, Ebonyi State. The incident occurred on Thursday, October 22, 2026, as Nwali and his team were returning from the community. A gunfight broke out between the suspected attackers and the candidate’s security officers; two suspects were killed and 10 others seriously injured. Nwali confirmed the attack in a social media post.
