Luanniao: the Chinese 'space aircraft carrier' is just science fiction, confirms its creator

Li Tian’ang, the CEO of China Global Culture Communications, confirmed that Luanniao is a fictional project and not a real military program. Presented by CCTV as a flying aircraft carrier, it is described as capable of carrying drones and operating at the edge of the atmosphere. This project is part of the fictional 'AVIC Universe', aimed at cultural activities for youth. Models of Luanniao have been displayed since 2018 at various events.
