NAF Airstrike Kills ISWAP Leaders in Lake Chad Region

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it neutralised several prominent ISWAP fighters in a precision strike on a terrorist hideout in the Lake Chad region on Monday, as part of Operation Hadin Kai. Those killed reportedly included Jindullah, chief security guard and confidant of Abu Saleem, and Abul Kissa, a member of ISWAP’s Shura Council. The strike also destroyed boat engines and motorcycles believed to support the group’s movements and operations. Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Sunday Aneke reaffirmed the NAF’s resolve to continue air operations against terrorist networks.
