‘You can’t collect 13th month salary and vote against APC,’ Oborevwori tells Delta workers

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori said civil servants should not vote against the APC in 2027, citing the 13th-month salary paid in December. At the APC campaign council’s inauguration in Asaba, he unveiled “MORE Plus” as his re-election campaign theme and urged members to mobilise voters for President Bola Tinubu and other party candidates. Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme praised the state’s alignment with the federal government, while Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo defended Tinubu’s economic reforms. Former governor Ifeanyi Okowa called for strong electoral results following Delta’s mass defection from the PDP to the APC in April 2025.
