Reuben Abati criticized President Bola Tinubu for blaming the opposition for hunger and poverty in Nigeria. On Arise TV’s Morning Show on Monday, Abati said fuel cost about 195 naira per litre when Tinubu took office and now costs between 1,400 and 1,500 naira. He attributed the rising cost of living to the removal of fuel subsidies and the devaluation of the naira, citing increases in the prices of rice, garri and beans. Abati urged Tinubu to stop blaming the opposition and focus on reducing living costs.
