Your failures will send you packing in 2027, Atiku tells Tinubu

Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, warned President Bola Tinubu that Nigerians would vote him out in 2027 over economic and security problems. In a response issued Saturday by his media aide, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku defended his investment in the American University of Nigeria and ABTI Academy, saying the project began before he became vice president in 1999 and the university’s foundation was laid in 1993. He accused Tinubu’s administration of worsening poverty, insecurity, unemployment and the cost-of-living crisis. Atiku urged the president to defend his record rather than attack his education investments.
