20230 World Cup: FIFA delegation expected in Morocco

FIFA plans inspection visits to Morocco, Spain and Portugal in November and December 2026 to assess candidate cities’ projects for the 2030 World Cup. In Morocco, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir and Fez will be assessed, including their stadiums, transport, accommodation capacity and operational plans. The delegation will also meet local and national authorities and event organizers to compare the bids with conditions on the ground and identify any necessary adjustments. The final allocation of matches among the cities has not yet been decided.
