Manufacturers’ unsold goods rise to N1.7trn

Manufacturing companies in Nigeria reported combined unsold goods of about N1.77 trillion in the second quarter of 2026, with a cost of sales reaching N1.43 trillion. Dangote Cement holds the largest inventory at N703.58 billion, followed by UACN, which saw a 231.8% increase to N189.55 billion. Other companies, such as Northern Nigeria Flour Mills and NASCON Allied Industries, recorded declines in their inventories.
