Haiti: After the deployment of 350 soldiers, the United States thanks Chad and praises its 'leadership'

The United States thanked Chad for deploying nearly 350 soldiers to Haiti to strengthen the Gang Suppression Force (FRG) alongside Haitian forces. These troops left N'Djamena on September 18 and are participating in operations against armed groups in Port-au-Prince. Chad had already sent forces in April 2026 during the launch of the FRG, which succeeded the Multinational Security Support Mission.
