Kano Assembly screens Sanusi Bature as commissioner-designate

The Kano State House of Assembly screened Alhaji Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, director-general of media and publicity at the Government House, following his nomination as commissioner by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. Asked about government communications and digital media management, he advocated proactive information management and proposed working with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation on social media laws aligned with Kano State’s cultural norms. He pledged to strengthen public media organisations, including Triumph Publishing Company, Radio Kano Corporation and Abubakar Rimi Television.
