Adeleke condemns political violence in Osun, calls for federal security intervention

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has condemned a wave of coordinated violent attacks by armed political thugs in communities including Ile-Ife, Ede, and Osogbo, resulting in injuries and heightened tension. He appealed to President Bola Tinubu, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and other security chiefs for urgent intervention, and urged APC leaders including former governor Gboyega Oyetola to promote peace. Adeleke visited victims and ordered a comprehensive investigation, stressing the rule of law.
