On June 5, Lenacapavir, a groundbreaking HIV drug, will be launched in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Health Minister Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi announced that the drug will be distributed to 360 health facilities in high-burden districts. Lenacapavir, administered via injection twice a year, targets priority populations such as young women, breastfeeding mothers, and sex workers.
