Air Algérie received two new aircraft (Boeing 737 MAX 8 and ATR 72-600) on July 11, 2026. The company is preparing to open four new international routes, including Warsaw and Berlin. Transport Minister Saïd Sayoud emphasized that these acquisitions are part of a national fleet modernization program. In comparison, Royal Air Maroc aims for 200 aircraft by 2038 and already serves 87 international destinations.
