2027: Yobe open to fair, transparent primaries - Gov Buni

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is open to fair and transparent primary elections if there is no general agreement on a consensus mode. He mentioned that Baba Mallam Wali was endorsed as the preferred gubernatorial candidate during a stakeholders meeting on April 23, 2026. Buni emphasized the importance of unity within the party and expressed optimism about the candidates' aspirations to serve the people.
