Ex-Minister Sadiya Farouq seeks to overturn arrest warrant in Abuja High Court

Former Humanitarian Affairs Minister Sadiya Farouq has asked an Abuja high court to set aside the arrest warrant issued against her in an ongoing corruption case. Absent due to health issues, her lawyer Oladipo Opeseyi argued that the application should be heard before her arraignment, but the prosecution opposed. Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie adjourned the matter until June 10 for a ruling.
