Three men jailed for Brighton beach rape

Three asylum seekers, Abdulla Ahmadi (26, Iran), Ibrahim Alshafe (26, Egypt), and Karin Al-Danasurt (21, Egypt), were jailed for raping a woman on Brighton beach on 4 October. Judge Christine Henson called the attack 'entirely predatory, callous and contemptuous'. Ahmadi and Alshafe were sentenced to 21 years, Al-Danasurt to 18 years and six months for filming the assault. The victim said she still hears their laughter and feels dirty no matter how hard she scrubs.
