Newport man throws electric motorbike off bridge in police chase after doing wheelies

Owen Pendree, 32, from Newport, was filmed doing wheelies through Newport traffic on 30 June before a stinger brought him to a stop. He threw his Sur-Ron electric motorbike off Newport Town Bridge into the River Usk. He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and no insurance. He was sentenced to 12 months in prison and disqualified from driving for three-and-a-half years.
