Video: ‘Please, don’t forget your children and I’ — Toluwanisings’ wife breaks down at tribute night

Akanbi Elizabeth, widow of gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, known as Toluwanisings, broke down in tears while paying tribute to him at an event held Tuesday at Jogor Centre in Ibadan. She said she would miss him forever and pleaded with him not to forget their children. Gospel artists including Adeyinka Alaseyori and Bidemi Olaoba, as well as actress Bimbo Oshin, attended the memorial. Toluwanisings died in Ibadan on October 14, 2026, after reportedly collapsing; controversy has since surrounded the circumstances of his death and his burial arrangements.
