Violence in France: Stolen iPhone Traced to Algeria as Owner Calls for Help

A French woman says her iPhone, valued at €2,700, was stolen on October 17 during looting linked to protests over the cost of living. She says a notification traced the phone to Algeria and that she later received fraudulent messages impersonating Apple in an attempt to obtain her account credentials. Her research allegedly led her to a second-hand phone business named “Nabil GSM,” and she suspects there may be other victims. She is asking people, particularly those in Algeria or with contacts there, to share her video and help with her investigation.
