New toll from attacks in Mali: At least 23 dead Saturday in Kati, near Bamako

An attack by jihadists and Tuareg rebels in Kati, the stronghold of the Malian junta, resulted in the deaths of at least 23 people, both civilians and military. The Malian Defense Minister, General Sadio Camara, was killed in this attack, which involved a suicide bomber driving a car bomb.
