Russia, Ukraine and United States: trilateral talks planned for November in Abu Dhabi

Russia announced that trilateral talks with Ukraine and the United States would take place in the first half of November in Abu Dhabi, aiming to restart negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the discussions would resume a dialogue that had been suspended since the beginning of the year. The announcement follows US envoy Steve Witkoff’s meetings with Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders in Oslo, and then with Vladimir Putin in Saint Petersburg. Moscow has floated a meeting around November 10, while Zelensky wants talks to begin as soon as possible.
