Gaza post-‘ceasefire’ deaths hit 983 as Israeli attack targets refugee camp

Israeli forces carried out a drone attack in the Bureij refugee camp, killing Muawiya al-Aydi, a municipal worker, and wounding two others. Another attack in Gaza City's Tuffah neighborhood injured one person. Despite a ceasefire since October, 983 people have been killed and 3,122 injured in the enclave, according to Gaza's Health Ministry. Hamas accuses Israel of violating the agreement and escalating for political and electoral reasons.
