Outbreak of rare strain of Ebola claims at least 65 lives in DR Congo

A new Ebola outbreak in Ituri province of the Democratic Republic of Congo has resulted in 65 deaths, with 246 suspected cases reported. A Congolese man has also died from the virus in Kampala, Uganda, raising fears of cross-border spread. Health authorities are ramping up efforts to contain the situation.
