Police arrest housewife for alleged battering of husband in Ondo

Police in Ondo State have arrested housewife Olatunde Mary for allegedly injuring her husband Olatunde Julius with a cutlass during a domestic dispute in Akure. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. and was reported to the Gender-Based Offences Unit. The victim was treated for a deep cut on his left hand. Police spokesperson DSP Jimoh Abayomi confirmed the arrest and stated that the command treats all domestic violence as a serious threat, regardless of gender or status.
