Ivory Coast: Akwaba Culture Association launches the 7th edition of the Great Dictation

The launch ceremony for the 7th edition of the Great Dictation took place on June 5, 2026 at the Amadou Hampaté Ba Foundation in Abidjan, with President Isabelle Kassi Fofana, sponsor Sunu Assurance Vie represented by Landry Angoua, and book director Agnissan Alain Serge. The competition will be held in a single phase on June 27, 2026 in Abidjan, with a prize of 1,500,000 FCFA for the winner, an increase of 500,000 FCFA from the previous edition. Between 800 and 1,000 participants are expected, and registrations are open online via the Sunu Assurance Vie platform. The event aims to promote the French language and African books.
