Kenya Railways Insists Amboseli Gardens Land Is Public Property Amid Eviction Row

The Kenya Railways Corporation defended its decision to evict occupants from the disputed Amboseli Gardens property in Lavington, stating that the land belongs to the state and was illegally occupied. Despite warnings, the occupants constructed structures unlawfully, relying on a questionable title deed. The agency clarified that the 80-year-old woman presented as a victim was not residing at the premises during the eviction, as the house had been rented out to a school.
