Traffic Flow: OFT Prepares for Post-PR8 on Strategic Routes

As the closure of the PR8 Project approaches on June 30, 2026, the Transport Fluidity Observatory (OFT) is implementing actions to maintain progress on road corridors, particularly the Bamako–San Pedro corridor via Daloa. A working session was held in Daloa to discuss mechanisms for reducing road hassles. Despite progress, practices contrary to facilitation principles persist, with excessive checks on certain stretches. The OFT calls for strong involvement from local stakeholders to improve the fluidity of economic exchanges.
