Minor Kidnapping: Father Justifies Act by Alleged Violence

On May 18, a father, an IT engineer identified as A. S. Aïdara, kidnapped his 12-year-old daughter from his ex-wife, D. Ly, despite a court order granting custody to the mother. He was arrested at Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) and taken into custody. He claims his daughter reported maternal violence and cites school concerns, without providing evidence. He eventually agreed to comply with the court decision.
