Tinubu hosts Madagascar’s President Randrianirina for high-level bilateral talks in Abuja

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu hosted Malagasy President Colonel Michaël Randrianirina at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for bilateral talks. The visit, Randrianirina's first to Nigeria since taking office in October 2025, focused on strengthening cooperation in trade, agriculture, security, and regional integration. The two leaders also discussed the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The meeting followed an earlier interaction at the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi.
