Ghana: 11-year-old girl found dead, two Nigerians arrested

Blessing Innocent, an 11-year-old girl reported missing in Gomoa Buduburam, Ghana, was found dead. Police arrested two Nigerian nationals who lived in her neighborhood: 40-year-old auto painter Kingsley Ozor and his 19-year-old apprentice, Jeffery Otaigbe. Investigators allege that Otaigbe lured the girl into an unfinished building, sexually assaulted her, and later led police to where her body had been hidden under shrubs. Both suspects remain in custody; an autopsy is due to establish the cause of death, and Ozor’s precise role has not been disclosed.
