Pastef: Hours After His Investiture, Ousmane Sonko Launches the Battle for One Million Militants

The Pastef party, led by Ousmane Sonko, launched a national recruitment campaign aiming for one million active militants by the end of 2026. The announcement was made by Muhamed Ndiaye of Pastef Touba, hours after Sonko's investiture. Specific numerical targets per department were set, with Dakar leading at 83,417 militants, followed by Mbacké, Rufisque, etc. The campaign will mobilize all 46 departments through local coordination structures.
