Nigerians should rethink as leadership is influence, not office — Bishop Kukah

Bishop Matthew Kukah of Sokoto Diocese urged Nigerians to rethink their understanding of leadership, arguing it should not be confused with political office. Speaking at a lecture in Lagos marking the fifth anniversary of Pastor Emily Aig-Imoukhuede, he said leadership is influence and responsibility, and must serve the common good. He lamented the erosion of ethical values in public life and called for a return to integrity and compassion.
