The US naval blockade of Iranian ports and the Strait of Hormuz, in place since April 13, raises concerns about Iran's oil storage capacity. According to an analysis by Kpler, Iran could run out of storage in 12 to 22 days if the blockade continues. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also claimed that storage capacity at Kharg Island would be full "in a matter of days."
