Lagos Taskforce impounds 309 motorcycles, demolishes illegal structures in security crackdown

The Lagos Taskforce impounded 309 commercial motorcycles and demolished illegal structures, including shanties and kiosks, during a security operation along the ECOWAS Road corridor and areas such as Orile-Iganmu, Mile 2, Festac, and Alaba. Taskforce Chairman CSP Adetayo Akerele said the operation, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and the Police, aimed to strengthen security by eliminating criminal hideouts and improve traffic flow.
