Troops arrest two suspected human organ traffickers in Benue

Troops of Sector 1, Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), arrested two suspected human organ traffickers on July 13, 2026, in the Atongo community, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. The arrests followed intelligence-led operations, and the suspects have been handed over to the Nigeria Police for investigation and prosecution. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks and curb violent crimes in Benue and the North Central region.
