The PDP State Chairmen’s Forum threatened action against governors accused of harassing, intimidating and killing party candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections. Forum chairman Austin Nwachukwu said at a meeting in Abuja that the group had intervened in Ebonyi State and was submitting a petition to the Inspector-General of Police and other security agencies. PDP National Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed said the party would follow its constitution and established internal procedures, and urged members to remain united ahead of the elections.

Benin: Administrative Simplification Award Receives More Than 1,400 Contributions in Five Days

Launched on October 29, Benin’s National Administrative Simplification Award received more than 1,400 submissions in five days, while 484 projects were still being drafted as of 8 p.m. on November 2. The platform had 2,667 registered accounts and more than 8,800 visits, including a first-day peak of 2,425 unique visitors. Nearly 85% of connections came from Benin, with visits also recorded from France, Canada, Côte d’Ivoire, and around 30 other countries. The competition rewards proposals that simplify procedures and remains open until November 12, 2026.

Youth Forum Backs Audi and Warns Against Calls for His Removal

The Patriotic Nigeria Youth Forum (PNYF) passed a vote of confidence in NSCDC Commandant-General Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, warning that his removal could hinder reforms and the protection of critical infrastructure.
