Senegal's National Office for Fighting Corruption (OFNAC) has opened 36 investigations following an unprecedented influx of reports. The announcements were made during a workshop with the Platform for the Protection of Whistleblowers in Africa (PPLAAF). The investigations department, led by Commander Omar Sène, now receives a significant volume of complaints from identified whistleblowers and anonymous sources.
