Police foil plot to kidnap Chinese national in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command foiled a planned kidnapping of a Chinese national and arrested two suspects, Chinedu Onwuemena (41) and Jimoh Ojo (37), who allegedly conspired to demand a N50 million ransom. Onwuemena, an interpreter and driver for the victim, exploited his position to facilitate the abduction. One accomplice remains at large, and the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
