Insecurity: Acquire weapons legally, defend yourselves from bandits - Emir tells Northerners

The Emir of Argungu, Muhammad Samaila Mera, urged his people to acquire weapons through legal means to defend themselves against ongoing bandit attacks. Speaking at a meeting with district, village, and ward heads at his palace, he emphasized that Islam does not instruct one to remain powerless when faced with violence. He called for vigilance and early action against terrorists and criminals, stating that possessing weapons can act as a deterrent.
