Romance scam: Ghanaian influencer Abu Trica extradited to USA in $8 million case

Frederick Kumi, known as Abu Trica, a Ghanaian influencer, was extradited from Ghana to the United States on July 9, 2026, for a romance scam worth over $8 million targeting elderly Americans. Magama/Rijau APC Primary: Court defers ruling on disputed name change in candidate suit

The Federal High Court in Minna reserved ruling on an application to amend the plaintiff's name in the suit challenging the APC primary for Magama/Rijau Federal Constituency.
