Four Palestine Action activists have been jailed after causing £1.2m of damage and fracturing a police sergeant's spine during a raid on the Elbit Systems factory near Bristol in August 2024. Samuel Corner was sentenced to seven years and eight months for striking Sgt Kate Evans with a sledgehammer. Charlotte Head, Leona Kamio, and Fatema Rajwani also received prison terms. The judge classified their actions as terrorism, the first time criminal damage convictions have been linked to terrorism.
