Take Healthcare to the Grassroots, Ogun Environmental Chief Urges Political Office Holders

Kehinde Bello, general manager of the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA), urged political office holders across Nigeria to launch programmes that directly improve constituents’ lives. Speaking at a one-day medical outreach in Ijebu-Imusin, he said democracy should be measured by improvements in community welfare, not political rhetoric. He called on public officials to invest in people-centred initiatives in health, the environment and social welfare, making quality healthcare accessible to all.
