Kikwit Military General Hospital receives three containers of medical equipment

The Kikwit Regional Military General Hospital (Kwilu) received three containers of state-of-the-art medical equipment on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. This government donation, representing more than 85% of the equipment ordered by the Ministry of Defense, aims to strengthen the hospital's technical platform. According to Lieutenant-Colonel Alexis Mpwati Pambu, medical director, this will improve care for military personnel and their dependents, as well as access to specialized care for the population of Kikwit. Captain Antony Mualushayi, communications director of the 11th Military Region, added that this will reduce medical evacuations to Kinshasa.
