Iran hangs man convicted of links with US, Israel in pre-war protests

Iran executed a man, Ali Fahim, convicted of acting on behalf of Israel and the United States during anti-government protests earlier this year. His execution follows protests that began in December against rising living costs and escalated into riots. Iranian authorities claim over 3,000 people were killed during the unrest, while a US-based human rights agency reports more than 7,000 deaths, mostly protesters.
